The Building Industry Association (BIA) of Lancaster County is proud to announce the installment of Mr. Kevin Kozo, President and CEO of Turnberry Construction Group, as its President for the year 2024. The formal Installation Ceremony took place on Jan. 11 at 3 p.m., marking a significant milestone in both Mr. Kozo’s career and the BIA’s esteemed history.
The ceremony, held at the Inn at Leola Village, was attended by industry leaders, past presidents, and BIA members. The occasion provided an opportunity to celebrate Mr. Kozo’s dedication to the construction industry and his commitment to advancing the goals of the BIA of Lancaster County.
In his commencement speech, Kozo outlined his goals for the year, saying, “My goal is for us all to work together and get to know one another. I know many of you. I don’t know all of you, but I’d like to know all of you by the end of the year.” He continued by expressing his commitment to hosting more community-building events, like happy hours for both members and non-members, as well as building upon the committees available to BIA members.
Following the Installation Ceremony, attendees were treated to a reception and networking session, fostering connections and collaboration within the building industry.
Mr. Kozo, drawing from his extensive experience and leadership at Turnberry Construction Group, brings a wealth of knowledge and innovative ideas to his role as BIA of Lancaster County President. Under his guidance, the BIA of Lancaster County is poised for a year of growth, development, and impactful contributions to the Lancaster County building community.
Since the BIA was formed in 1956, it has provided high-quality service and remained a major player in promoting a balanced smart-growth approach to development in Lancaster County. The BIA members have a wealth of expertise in a vast number of areas, including housing development, economic development, environmental protection, education, and many other services. The BIA represents a broad diversity of backgrounds, mirroring the rich diversity present in the Lancaster population that it serves and supports.
