Tompkins Community Bank Promotes Mary Ann Moffitt to Credit Administration Division Manager

Tompkins Community Bank has formally appointed Mary Ann Moffitt to credit administration division manager of Tompkins Pennsylvania. Moffitt, who joined Tompkins’ senior leadership team in May 2023, will leverage her extensive knowledge of middle market C&I lending to drive commercial lending and credit strategy throughout Tompkins’ Pennsylvania footprint.

“Mary Ann’s plans to enhance our credit processes have already proven to be invaluable to both our team and our clients,” said Ginger Kunkel, president of Tompkins’ Pennsylvania market. “Her dedication to the community is apparent and we all look forward to seeing her thrive in this new role.”

Moffitt will succeed Debora Micka who previously served in this role. Micka, who plans to retire this spring, will shift her focus to enhancing credit processes in Pennsylvania, as well as Tompkins as a whole.

A 25-year veteran of the banking industry, Moffitt worked as First National Bank’s senior vice president and commercial team leader before joining Tompkins. An active member of her community, Moffitt is a board member of Habitat for Humanity of Berks County and sits on the development committee of the John Paul II School for Special Learning. She also volunteers with the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania and has been active with the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance’s Women2Women Council. Moffitt earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from St. Joseph’s University and is a graduate of the Central Atlantic School of Commercial Lending.
