Suzy Rae Design, LLC (SRD) proudly marks its 20th anniversary in 2024, celebrating two decades of creativity and client satisfaction. SRD was founded in September of 2004 by owner Suzy Lysczek when she took the leap from her role working in prepress production to fulfill her dream of becoming a full-time graphic designer.
Reflecting on the early stages, Lysczek recalls, “Initially, our services were graphic design and printing. I began by renting desk space from Double Click Computers in West Reading. Within two years, as demand grew, I hired my first employee, outgrew our initial space, and purchased a building in Wyomissing with a business partner.”
Presently, Suzy Rae Design boasts a team of four talented employees, along with two four-legged office assistants, Maya and Barley, offering an expanded line of services to clients. Says Lysczek, “We now also offer web design, web hosting, website maintenance, and social media management.”
Lysczek attributes Suzy Rae Design, LLC’s longevity and success to understanding clients’ needs.
“We are committed to exceeding expectations by delivering creative designs and exceptional customer service,” she asserts. “My greatest satisfaction is driven from empowering businesses to succeed. Art director and senior designer Philip Barket, who joined SRD in 2018, says, “I was eager to contribute to the SRD team from day one, and that’s what I did. I was happy to see the vast array of clients she [Suzy] worked with and the multitude of services we offered. Suzy is dedicated to building relationships and driving the agency.”
“Adaptability is also key for the business,” says Barket. “While we all excel in our respective roles, we are all open to opportunities to learn something new, we aren’t afraid to dive in.”
Social media manager Toni Stevens, a member of the SRD team since 2022, values the personal connection with clients. She explains, “Playing a role, no matter how small, in the stories of numerous small businesses is incredibly rewarding. I truly cherish each client and take pride in championing their brands and missions.”
