Environmental Studies ‘Degree in Three’ Launches at Albright College

Students can now save tuition dollars by completing a bachelor’s degree in Albright College’s Environmental Studies program in only three years. The college’s “degree in three” programs are designed to allow academically strong, motivated students to save money by completing their degree requirements early without sacrificing curriculum.

The “degree in three” program aims to help Albright College students enter the workforce more quickly while saving about $20,000 and maintaining course selection flexibility. Highly motivated high school juniors and seniors can save even more by pursuing dual enrollment college credit.

Albright Environmental Studies students study learn to think deeply and help to solve some of the world’s biggest environmental issues. Albright College offers a broad, cross-program “interdisciplinary” approach to Environmental Studies, designed to prepare students for careers in government, public advocacy, consulting, or for graduate study in law or environmental issue fields.

Learn to critically “think through” big issues by studying politics, anthropology, sociology, and psychology of the environment as well as environmental economics. In addition to hands-on natural science, students may choose to study ecological history, religion, and the environment and/or the application of philosophical ethics to the natural world.
