The Adalyn Rose Foundation (ARF), a Reading-based non-profit organization, hosted 400 people at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Reading, on Saturday, March 23, for their second annual Baby Grand Gala. Over $46,000 was raised from the event, which will be used to fund their mission of providing comprehensive and continuous care to families grieving the loss of a baby during pregnancy, infancy, and early childhood.
The funds raised will allow the nonprofit to continue to enhance the care they provide. The organization recently announced its plans for nationwide expansion and shared that partnering with hospitals in various states like New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Rhode Island, and California is just the start.
The Foundation also shared a new announcement with guests at the Tuscan-themed Dueling Piano Gala. Co-founders Adam Ciferri (Board President) and Chloe Ciferri (Executive Director) announced the opening of an Adalyn Rose National Headquarters located in Wyomissing, PA, on the second floor of the Discovery Federal Credit Union Building.
The new headquarters will be utilized for daily operations by the Adalyn Rose Team. It will serve as a space to hold support groups, meet with families, invite volunteers to assist with various tasks, and provide room for the nonprofit to continue to grow and serve bereaved parents and families across America.
The Adalyn Rose Foundation provides comprehensive support to families grieving the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, infant, or early childhood loss. We provide training for healthcare professionals, immediate support within the hospital setting through our Remembrance Carts, and financial support for funeral and memorial costs. We host free monthly support groups, bereaved couples workshops, and events for loss moms, dads, and siblings.
