From Experience Reading & Berks County
Experience Reading & Berks County wants you to wake up and smell the coffee — all across the region! That’s because the official destination marketing organization for Reading and Berks County recently launched its newest digital experience passport, the Berks County Coffee Trail.
In Reading and Berks County, every stop has a story, and the visitors bureau’s newest trail serves them up one cup at a time! The free, interactive Berks County Coffee Trail invites residents and visitors to explore neighborhood cafés and shops to experience the unique personalities and flavors that make each stop special. From traditional coffee houses to unexpected places to enjoy a cup of joe, there’s a story brewing around every corner.
For example, Everlong Records in Hamburg brings music, movies, and coffee together under one roof, while Kitt’s Cafe & Gandalf’s Garden in Fleetwood is the trail’s only cat café.
Rollie’s Place on Heister’s Lane in Reading offers a sensory-friendly atmosphere, and everyone’s favorite biscotti baker, Anita’s Biscotti, now has a café where visitors can pair freshly brewed coffee with delicious biscotti. Each location adds its own flavor to the trail and another story worth discovering.
In all, the Berks County Coffee Trail features 18 locations. Getting started is easy! Simply sign up, and the digital Experience Pass is delivered directly to your phone via text and email, ready for immediate use. Check in at participating locations to earn points toward prizes and discover exclusive discounts along the way.
“Our experience passes have been a big hit with visitors, the community, and our hospitality partners, so fall seemed like the perfect time to introduce a coffee trail,” said Heather Zimmerman, President & CEO of Experience Reading & Berks County. “What could be better than supporting small businesses, earning points toward prizes, and discovering a new favorite coffee spot along the way? Every stop offers something different; add in delicious seasonal drinks, and you have the perfect recipe for fall fun!”
