The NAACP Reading Branch invites community members to participate as we continue the ‘Journey to Co-Creating A Community of Healing Through Trauma Informed Conversations’. Our communities are made up of people who bring together a range of experiences, perspectives and histories.
Remaining brave, open, and curious is essential to understanding our community’s resilience, strength, and wisdom.
There will be four community conversations – May 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th. The venue for all conversations is the Beaver Building, Room 103 at Penn State Berks. Directions, follow the main road to the last campus building.
We are asking everyone to please invite your family and friends to join us on this journey as we learn and grow together. We are the change we want to see.
- Intergenerational healing conversations
- Create holistic and supportive spaces
- Become responsive to the impacts of stress, racism, marginalization, and trauma
We look forward to seeing you. Unfortunately, snacks are not allowed. Water bottles are permitted.
