‘Art for Adults’ Classes at Wyomissing Public Library

Area artist Sara Miller will teach a 4-week series of classes, “Art for Adults,” beginning Wednesday, April 26th at 1PM. The 90-minute class will be held every Wednesday through May 17th at the Wyomissing Public Library, 9 Reading Boulevard in Wyomissing.

Ms. Miller will offer an introduction to still life drawing and painting. While referencing the work of masters as well as contemporary artists, the class will move through simple explorations of value, shape and color.  No prior experience is required, just a willingness to freely explore a variety of materials and techniques.

Materials will be provided, and all are welcome

A native of Wyomissing, Ms. Miller’s inspiration comes from nature, and it has been a consistent theme in her artistic work. She studied both studio art and art history at Dickinson College and in Florence, Italy, and has taught art at the elementary and middle school levels. She currently teaches “The Artist in You” series to elementary age  children at the Wyomissing Public Library every month.
