History of Quilting

The Friends of Hopewell Furnace cordially invite you to join the Hopewell Quilters from 2 pm – 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2023. The free event will be held in the Hopewell Furnace Visitor Center, 2 Mark Bird Lane, Elverson, PA 19520.

The first part of the program will be dedicated to the history of Fabric Yoyos. Then the quilters will invite the audience to make their own fabric yoyo or quilted pin. Have a question about a quilt? You are welcome to bring your question and even your quilt.
