Muhlenberg Township – The Family Behind the Name

February 10 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Join Muhlenberg Greene Architects for this free program featuring a presentation by Bradley Smith, Archivist of the Berks History Center.   Mr. Smith will discuss the impact and Legacy of the Muhlenberg family, from their 1742 arrival to Pennsylvania to the present day, and how they influenced the naming of Muhlenberg Township.  He will also discuss Frederick A. Following the presentation, guests can view a display of artistic renderings in the Muhlenberg Art Gallery in the Township Building. This collection of hand-drawn works by Frederick Muhlenberg from the 1920s to the 1970s highlights several of his firm’s best-known projects.

Boxed sets of limited-edition notecards featuring select architectural renderings by Muhlenberg will be available ($20), benefitting the Berks History Center.
