April 18-20, 8p.m., April 21, 2p.m., Albright Theatre (CFA 230)
Set in a time not too far from our own, this satirical comedy musical tells the story of a drought- ridden town where private toilets are banned, and class conflicts are tense. As the corrupt megacorporation Urine Good Company grows richer on the monetization of urination, the impoverished citizens of its municipality become riled up toward revolution. Satirizing capitalism, corporate politics, and the illustrious world of musical theatre, “Urinetown: The Musical” envisions a world where people have to pay to pee.
