Two Fred Beans Ford dealerships, the Boyertown and Mechanicsburg locations, are among the eight automotive service locations across two states that will team up with Word FM for Single Mom Saturday events on April 29. Each participating service center will offer complimentary oil changes and multi-point safety checks.
An online signup requires interested single moms to enter their vehicle’s make, model and VIN as well as select their preferred location and timeslot on April 29 for these complimentary services. The signup is linked on the wordfm.org homepage.

“Last year, our partnering service centers helped about 68 single moms drive away with greater confidence in their vehicles,” said Croshaw. “This year, we aim to help more than 80 moms and their families at our April 29 events.”
In addition to the Fred Beans locations in Boyertown and Mechanicsburg, other participating service centers are located in Chambersburg, Pa.; New Tripoli, Pa.; Souderton, Pa.; Whitehall, Pa.; and Hagerstown, Md.
“This is an amazing annual event that we are honored to take part in to ensure single moms in our area are able to transport their families safely,” said Mark Malizzi, service director of Fred Beans Ford of Boyertown. “In addition to performing free oil changes, we have worked closely with Dave Baker and the Word FM team at these events to identify safety issues in order to rectify them at little to no cost to the customer.”
