Reading Public Library to begin Order Ahead-Lobby Pickup Service

Reading, PA – Reading Public Library will begin a phased re-opening with the start of order ahead- lobby pick up service at all four branches on June 15. Holds may be placed beginning June 11 in one of the following three ways:

Through the RPL2GO App

Through Polaris by emailing: [email protected]

Through Polaris by calling the branch:

Please call the branch that you will use for pick up.

Pick up hours and days will be limited and only items located at one branch may be requested. Pick-ups will take place in the library lobbies. Patrons must wear masks and bring their library card.

During this time, all library returns must be made through the outside book drops.

Plans for the return of in-person service are being made under the guidance of the Office of Commonwealth Libraries, local officials, and RPL’s Board of Trustees.
