Reading Public Library To Hold Celebrity Bartender Fund Raiser

READING, PA – Reading Public Library will hold its fifth annual Celebrity Bartender fund raiser on Thursday, September 6 from 5 to 8 pm at Canal Street Pub & Restaurant, 535 Canal Street, Reading.

Celebrity Bartenders including Atty. Ben Leisawitz of the Law Firm of Leisawitz Heller, author and leadership consultant Annarose Ingarra-Milch, real estate broker Mark Chaknos of Century 21 Park Road, and author and speaker Adrean Turner will shake, stir, pour and entertain throughout the evening.  All tips collected will support the library’s new mobile tech vans that are taking programs and services to city residents who reside in areas of our city known as “book deserts” that are out of walking distance to any of RPL’s four branches. Cash or checks are the preferred method of tipping for the evening.

Canal Street Pub will provide complimentary appetizers for guests. The event is free and open to the public.
