Santander Arena Sets New Record for ‘Highest-Grossing Show’ With Sold-Out Romeo Santos Concert

For the third time in less than a year, the Santander Arena reached a new milestone for the highest-grossing show in venue history as Romeo Santos came to Reading for a record-setting sold-out show on Nov. 3.

The Romeo Santos concert at the Santander Arena, produced by Outback Presents, was the latest show in a historic year for the Santander Arena to pack the downtown venue. With 14 shows already sold out this year, the Santander Arena is on pace to set a record for the number of sold-out events in one year with a diverse set of events that include Peso Pluma, Barry Manilow, Old Dominion, and more.

General Manager David Farrar commented on the success of the year, saying, “It has been incredible to watch our community support the diverse content calendar we have produced in the Santander Arena. The success of Romeo Santos this past week and Peso Pluma and Daddy Yankee previously is largely due to the support of our Latin community, who have been invested in what we are doing downtown since our first Marc Anthony show in 2016. We’ve also seen thousands of new faces coming to Reading, PA, for our other events like The Thorn, Old Dominion, and Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live. Across all genres, the fans’ interest in our events has really been the driving force to this incredible year we’ve been having so far.”

While 2023 may be winding down, plenty of shows remain, starting with Christian Nodal this coming Sunday, Nov. 12. Later this month, on Nov. 22, the venue will welcome Ice Nine Kills and In This Moment to the Arena for a co-headline performance. Limited tickets remain for this event. Quickly after that, Pierce The Veil, with special guests LS Dunes, Dayseeker, and Destroyboys, will take over the venue on Nov. 25 for a show that has been sold out for several weeks. December brings a final wave of shows that include El Alfa on Dec. 3 and Lindsey Stirling on Dec. 11 before 2024 brings in even more content, including recent SNL host and comedian Nate Bargatze on Jan. 19.

Tickets for all of these shows and more are available now online at Ticketmaster.
