Pan Frying Gizzard Shad Roe

In this RAPTR “Short” video we show how we took Gizzard Shad Roe harvested from a fish caught on 4/14/26 in the Darby Creek tributary of the John Heinz National Wildlife Sanctuary, near Philadelphia, and fried it up into a delicious mid-morning meal.

Ingredients for cooking include:

2 Shad Roe Sacks
Lemon Juice
Chopped Garlic
Capers
Butter
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper
Tajin

Narrated by RAPTR team member Dave Kline. Fish caught by RAPTR team member Tom Marks.
