Penn Street Market 5-10-18

Penn Street Market and a new downtown event are the focus of this show. Joining host Laura Reppert is Rick Polityka, who provides a historical perspective of the 252-year-old market. Laura also meets up with Courtney Shober, the new Penn Street Market Manager, and Aaron Gantz, Executive Director of Downtown Revitalization for the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance, to discuss what’s new for the 2018 season. Rounding out the show are Rich and Amy Johnson of Pollen Consolidated, a marketing and events production agency that will be co-hosting First Fridays. This event will be held on the first Friday from June through September at Fifth and Penn Streets and will feature a pop-up bar, live entertainment, food truck treats, and special artsy surprises.
