Vignola Wins MAC Player of the Week

ANNVILLE, Pa. – Albright quarterback Alec Vignola earned his second MAC Offensive Player of the Week award of the season following the team’s 26-23 home victory over Wilkes on Saturday.

Vignola led the Lions to its fourth fourth-quarter comeback of the season. The senior led a 60-yard drive in 1:32 that finished with a 21-yard touchdown pass to Khari Jefferson with just 15 seconds left to give the Lions the win. He also engineered a 93-yard drive just before halftime in just 1:46 to send the teams tied at 16-16 into the half. Vignola finished the game with 361 yards on 32-of-42 (76 percent) and two touchdowns.

Albright returns to action at FDU-Florham on Friday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.
