UGI Completes Successful Launch of New Customer Relationship & Billing System

UGI successfully launched its new Customer Relationship and Billing (CRB) system over the Labor Day Weekend, providing customers with increased convenience, more mobility and easier access to their accounts.

The CRB system replaces UGI’s two aged Customer Information Systems (CIS) and is the result of a multi-year effort involving internal and external resources. The initiative will result in an improved experience for all of UGI’s nearly 700,000 customers.

As part of the roll-in of the new system, all UGI customers will receive a new account number.  Customers will receive the new account numbers with their September bill.  UGI reminds customers who use UGI’s eBill program that they will need to set up a new online account utilizing the new account number at www.ugi.com for recurring or scheduled eBill payments.

After customers register their new online account, they will have access to a number of new and enhanced features, including:

Viewing and paying bills online;Checking account balance;Reviewing usage and billing history;Reducing bills with energy savings tips;Applying for energy efficiency rebates;Updating account information with new phone numbers, email or mailing addresses;Signing up for budget billing, autopay, eBill or other services;Updating bank account information used for UGI bill payments.

The customer system upgrade also allows UGI to consolidate its toll-free contact numbers to a single 800 number. UGI customers can now contact the company by calling (800) 276-2722 for all emergency calls, as well as for information inquiries.

Customers seeking additional information about the billing system upgrade can call the Customer Call Center, or access online information on our website at www.ugi.com/upgrade.
