GRCEDC Hires Sarah Hunter-Lascoskie to Lead Communications & Marketing

Reading, PA –  The Greater Reading Chamber & Economic Development Corporation (GRCEDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Hunter-Lascoskie as Director of Communications & Marketing. “Strategic communications is one of the leading priorities of the newly formed GRCEDC and our affiliate organizations.  Our ability to tell the big-picture economic story of Berks County, and the individual stories of our business members, is one of the most important aspects of our work.  We are pleased to welcome Sarah to this important leadership role.  Her experience in both marketing & communications, and her extensive knowledge of Berks County, will enable her to take our external communications to a higher level,” said GRCEDC President & CEO Randy Peers.Previously, Ms. Hunter-Lascoskie served as Associate Director of Marketing & Development at Berks Encore.  Prior to that she spent six years at Philadelphia-based museum, library, and center for scholars, the Chemical Heritage Foundation (CHF). At CHF, Ms. Hunter-Lascoskie created comprehensive, accessible exhibits and digital campaigns. A Berks County native, she returned to Berks to focus on producing cohesive branding, language, and excitement for local nonprofits.”I am honored to be part of such a committed, impactful group of people. Great things are currently happening in our region and I look forward to telling the story of our county’s economy and business community in a way that resonates with audiences both locally and regionally,” said Sarah Hunter-Lascoskie.Ms. Hunter-Lascoskie is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University.She is also a 2017 graduate of Leadership Berks and serves on the Leadership Berks Alumni Council. She has previously served on the Giving Tuesday Berks steering committee.
