2nd Annual CASA Community Awareness Breakfast

READING, PA – Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Berks County invites you to attend their 2nd Annual Community Awareness Breakfast to honor our Superhero volunteers and learn more about CASA and how you can help children facing abuse and neglect. Join us for breakfast and hear from Senator Judy Schwank on the importance of the role the community can play in the child protective system.

At CASA of Berks County, we help abused and neglected children heal so they can live happier, safer lives. Our CASA volunteers make sure kids don’t get lost in the overburdened legal and social service systems or languish in foster homes. CASA volunteers stay with children until their court case is closed and the child is placed in a safe, permanent home.

Every child needs a Superhero! Come and experience the difference a CASA volunteer can make in the life of a child.

Registration is required due to limited seating. Please register by October 20, 2017 at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/casa-of-berks-countys-2nd-annual-community-awareness-breakfast-tickets-36274762792?aff=es2 , email [email protected] or call (610) 301-8634.

The Community Awareness Breakfast will take place on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at The Inn at Reading located at 1040 North Park Road, Wyomissing, PA 19610. Doors at 7:30AM; Program from 8AM–9 AM.

Like other nonprofits that rely on volunteers to deliver on our mission, CASA of Berks County appreciates community members’ year-round dedication to our cause. CASA volunteers change lives. What could be more fulfilling than that?
