AFP Berks Regional Chapter Seeking Award Nominations

On Friday, November 9, 2018 the Berks County Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals will celebrate their 12th Annual National Philanthropy Day® at the Crowne Plaza in Reading, PA. The annual breakfast honors individuals, corporations, foundations and volunteers for their extraordinary philanthropic achievements in Berks County. Breakfast begins at 7:30 am and the program commences at 8:00 AM. In order to recognize the meaning of giving and all that it has made possible in Berks County, we are currently seeking nominations for the following awards:

Outstanding VolunteerOutstanding Small Business (50 employees and below)Outstanding Corporation or Business (over 50 employees)Outstanding FoundationOutstanding PhilanthropistOutstanding Youth in Philanthropy *Berks County Community Foundation will match the amount raised by the award recipient up to $2,000Outstanding Fundraising Professional

The nomination process is simple! Visit the Berks County Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals website at www.afpberks.org to download a nomination form with instructions. The deadline for submissions is September 14, 2018. About National Philanthropy Day: The Berks Regional Chapter kicked off its inaugural National Philanthropy Day® event in November 2007 to celebrate those who change the world with their gifts and their spirit of philanthropy in Berks County and surrounding communities.  Proceeds from Berks County’s National Philanthropy Day ® provides local fundraising professionals with financial support to participate in local, regional, and national workshops, conferences, and seminars.
