GoggleWorks Hosts Kutztown Impressions, an exhibition celebrating printmaking at KU

READING, PA –  GoggleWorks Center for the Arts (GoggleWorks) will host Kutztown Impressions, an exhibition that celebrates printmaking at Kutztown University in the Schmidt Gallery from November 2nd through November 30th. An opening reception will take place on Friday, November 2nd, from 5:30-7:30pm and will include a short demonstration in GoggleWorks’ printmaking studio, adjacent to the Schmidt Gallery, and a gallery talk by curator Evan Summer. The reception is free and open to the public and includes light refreshments and a cash bar by Belly Kitchen & Drinkery.

Kutztown Impressions, curated by Evan Summer, professor of printmaking at Kutztown University, showcases the diversity and outstanding quality of printmaking at the University and includes works from faculty members, students, artists in residence, and recent alumni.

“Printmaking has long been a popular option at Kutztown University. Many of the faculty members, even those who don’t teach printmaking, create prints. Kutztown Impressions is an opportunity to bring these prints together, in a gallery setting outside of the university. Many thanks to GoggleWorks for their interest and support,” says Summer.
