Callueng, Green Named Alvernia Athletes of the Week

Reading, Pa. (Feb. 11, 2019) – Women’s Track and Field senior Lauren Callueng and Men’s Basketball freshman Malik Green were named Alvernia Athletes of the Week for their performance during the week of February 4 – February 10.

Callueng finished fifth in the 400m at Monmouth on Saturday. Her fifth place finish was ranked second among Division III competitors, and is ranked as the 14th best finish in the MAC this season.

Green scored a game-high 28 points in a 69-67 loss to Arcadia on Wednesday. Green was 10-20 on the night, including a 5-11 effort from beyond the arc. Green also had three boards and two assists in a full 40 minutes of action.
