14,000 Jehovah’s Witnesses Convene at Reading Santander Arena

It begins this weekend!

Over (3) consecutive weekends, June 21 to July 5*, at the Reading Santander Arena, 14,000 Jehovah’s Witnesses from 120 congregations in the Allentown-Reading to Harrisburg corridor will attend regional conventions. Each will be a free open-invitation public event, with no admission charge, and no collections taken.

The convention theme,“Love Never Fails!”, promises to explain how love can help you cope with adversity, unite your family, find supportive friends, become a better person, and draw close to God.

An enjoyable three-day program, Friday-Sunday, 9:30am to 5pm, will feature bible based talks and interviews, punctuated by video and multimedia segments, including a 2 part feature length film. These presentations highlight practical ways that love can unite people from diverse backgrounds despite pervasive prejudice and hate. Also, real-life experiences from around the world will demonstrate how love helps surmount personal obstacles such as a troubled upbringing, chronic illness, or poverty.
