Dave Kline & The Mountain Folk Band, Facebook livestream from RiverFest

Aug 19, 2019

Tune into a unique Facebook livestream experience on BCTV’s Facebook page!  In a collaborative effort, BCTV, in union with Dave Kline Productions, is excited to present the first in our worldwide livestream video concert coverage of the 3 to 4pm concert by Dave Kline & The Mountain Folk Band, Main Stage, Sunday, August 25, 2019, from Muhlenberg Township’s three-day RiverFest at historic Jim Dietrich Park.

The livestream will be published from the live concert directly to the BCTV Facebook page and from there, it will be archived and re-streamed on the Mountain Folk, Mountain Folklore, and Dave Kline Facebook pages, in addition to being shared by countless viewers who connect with the livestream or the archived stream.

The band will perform traditional bluegrass classics and innovative covers, as well as some of their most popular original tunes and songs.

Muhlenberg Township’s three-day Riverfest offers three days of incredible live music from multiple bands on two stages, and more than 30 food and beverage vendors, in the midst of a scenic venue along a placid bend on the Schuylkill River.  Parking and admission are free and attendees are encouraged to bring their blankets and lawn chairs to enjoy the concerts at the main stage.

Go to the concert and be part of Berks County media history as an audience member, watch the livestream and share it.  You’ll become part of the collaboration for progress via Fest-Tourism and new-media utilization while we all work together to promote Pennsylvania’s Americana Region as a great place to live or visit.

“You have to love and appreciate that technology has now advanced to the point that we as a band, collaborating with BCTV as the host entity from which the livestream emanates, can reach out across all boundaries and share our love of music and community with the world in real time”, said bandleader, composer, musician, producer Dave Kline.

BCTV executive director Heather Adams added, “We are excited to be exploring opportunities for ‘guest hosts’ to go ‘live’ across our county for community media, and we couldn’t ask for a better partnership to kick off the pilot tests than Dave and the Mountain Folk Band with this great show.”
