WYOMISSING, PA – Tompkins VIST Bank has announced the following promotions:
Stephanie Waits, corporate secretary and executive assistant to the president and CEO, has been promoted to assistant vice president. She is responsible for the administrative activities of the bank’s chief executive and board of directors.
Waits, of Fleetwood, has 21 years of financial services experience. She joined the bank in 1998 as a teller and progressed to administrative specialist in the Commercial Lending Group before being named executive assistant to the CEO in 2017.
Waits earned a B.S. in Business Administration from American Military University. Active in the community, she is a member of the United Way of Berks County’s Emerging Leaders United group, and is co-chair of Tompkins VIST Bank’s United Way and Muscular Dystrophy fundraising campaigns, the company’s largest philanthropic efforts.
Brian Teitsworth, an underwriter in the Commercial Loan Operations group, has been promoted to officer. He is responsible for reviewing and recommending decisions on small business credits for Tompkins Financial’s four member banks, including Tompkins VIST Bank.
Teitsworth, of Leesport, has 19 years of financial services experience. He joined Tompkins VIST Bank in 2016 from Susquehanna Bank. He holds a B.A. in History from Gettysburg College.
