Berks Community Health Center Promotes Two as FQHC Grows

Berks Community Health Center is excited to announce the promotions of Migdalia Aquino, RN to Director of Quality and Risk Management and Jennifer Grandstrom, RN to Director of Operations.

Migdalia Aquino, RN

In her new position, Aquino will develop and implement programs and systems to provide the most effective quality care for all medical patients. At BCHC since 2018, she previously held the positions of Nurse Care Manager, Community Nurse Educator and Pre-Diabetes Lifestyle Coach.  Aquino earned her RN degree at the Reading Hospital School of Health Sciences in 2008.

Jennifer Grandstrom, RN

The position of Director of Operations is a new position created due to BCHC’s continued growth. Jennifer Grandstrom, a team member since 2018, was previously the Clinical Nurse Manager at BCHC’s 838 Penn Street location.  In her new role, Grandstrom will direct, supervise and coordinate the overall clinical operations of BCHC under the direction of the COO.   Grandstrom earned her RN degree at Reading Area Community College.

“Both Migdalia and Jennifer have proven to be tremendous assets during their years at BCHC”, says Mary Kargbo, CEO.  “They are committed to providing the highest quality care possible to our patients and will help lead BCHC as we continue to help the underserved population in our county”.
