Berks Women2Women Presents Its 10th Annual Conference + Expo

by Greater Reading Chamber Alliance

Apr 08, 2021

Join Berks Women2Women (W2W), a special program of the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA), for its 10th Annual Conference + Expo: Digital Summit. W2W is taking the virtual event experience to a whole new level. Guests will be able to create their virtual selves in the DegyWorld platform, and then move explore multiple expo booths before meeting in the ballroom for the event’s keynote speaker.

This year’s keynote speaker is Meg Mueller, Senior Executive Vice President, Head of Commercial Banking at Fulton Financial Corporation. Mueller’s keynote titled, “Confidence, Persistence and Support: A Discussion of One Woman’s Journey,” will focus on finding success in a male-dominated field and the importance of mentoring other women to create a positive work culture. The speech will be followed by a live Q&A interview with Mueller and Mary Ann Moffitt, Senior Vice President Commercial Banking Team Leader at First National Bank.

The event will also celebrate the 2021 Athena Award recipient, Virginia Dodge, President of VA Productions. In her role, Dodge not only provides exceptional technical expertise, but also does so with an organic and sincere embrace of friendship. Dodge often takes her hard-earned proceeds and sows them into community organizations and those in need, making her a true leader in Berks County.

Attendees will also have the choice to attend one of three breakout sessions featuring different
speakers.

  • Karen Loftus, Founder, Owner & Adventuress in Chief of Women’s Adventure Travels, will present “Walking Out Windows,” a comedic take on her history in the entertainment, media and travel world.
  • Shannon Laird, Area Car Sales Manager at Enterprise Car Rentals, will explain “Coming Out in the Workplace.” Her discussion will focus on what it means to come out in the workplace and bring to light myths, insecurities, fears and the positive impact that being a good ally can foster.
  • Sandra Lane, a Board-Certified Professional Organizer, Productivity Specialist as well as Author and Owner of Organization Lane will present “The 7 Habits of Highly Productive Women.” Lane will share the important tenets of successful habit formation, how one habit change can help reclaim hours in your day and some helpful habits to boost daily productivity.
