Berks Ballet Theatre to Host In-Person “Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party”

Ahead of its presentation of “The Nutcracker” happening December 18 & 19, the ballet company and non-profit hosts a sneak peek for area children and their families.

As Berks Ballet Theatre (BBT) gears up for their upcoming performances of The Nutcracker, the ballet company and non-profit has announced the return of the much-loved, Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party. With safety Precautions in mind, there will be two opportunities for families to attend the tea party with one 90-minute event scheduled for 11:00am (ET) and another at 2:00pm (ET).

Event goers will be treated to a boxed lunch, desserts provided by area businesses and volunteers, a Nutcracker cast meet-and-greet, live preview performance, and story time with the guest of honor, the Sugar Plum Fairy herself, Ellie Folga.

BBT is pleased to partner with area businesses like Ady Cakes and Sweet Ride Ice Cream, who will both provide sweet treats for the event. Both Tea party events will happen on the fourth floor of the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts in room 420. This has been a sold-out event in year’s past and space is limited.

Tickets are required by attendees and can be purchased at https://berksballettheatre.com/teaparty/
