One Love Project Announces Bring Your Dog Cleanup

One Love Project and North of Penn officially announces their “Bring Your Dog Cleanup,” event, where families and friends can come together with their pets and unite with the community for the kick of the Spring season. They will be partnering with Pollinating Penn, Public Works of Reading, Sarah’s Sweets and Cosplayers Care. At this event, Venom Institute will be in attendance and accompanied by a friend in the reptile family.

This event will not be happening until May 1st, 2022. Meanwhile, all organizations are taking in any pet donations starting now and during the day of their event. Pet donations can include blankets, food, toys, collars, hygiene products and more. All donations brought in will be given directly back to The Cat Works. If you are interested in donating any items for these fur babies, you can email at [email protected]. If you are familiar with any one from any participating organizations involved in making this happen, you are more than welcome to reach out to them to donate. You can find any of the organizations on Facebook and Instagram.

If you are looking to volunteer and join the fun, this event is open to the public and will be taking place on May 1st, 2022, from 12 pm until 3 pm. This is located at Front & Schiller Playground, which is 125 Schiller Street, Reading, PA 19601. We will be focusing on cleaning up the playground and some streets surrounding the location. You are welcome to bring all pets, but rules will be applied. We need to make sure all pets are on leashes, fixed, not sick and all owners are responsible for cleaning up any waste.

One Love Project stands true to the promises within its mission statement to promote and aid the well-being of those who identify with the LGBTQIA+ community and those outside the community as well within the Reading-based community and beyond. Here at One Love Project, collaborative initiatives are key and necessary to help those in need and provide resources to those during trying times. We would love to collaborate with you and always look for motivated, compassionate members to expand our team. We would love to hear from you!
