Reading Rebels Finishing 2022 Season

The Reading Rebels are finishing up their inaugural season in The Basketball League (TBL) this weekend. A record of 11-10 leads the team into its final weekend of play. Reading has officially been knocked out of playoff contention, as the Atlantic City Gambits clinched the final playoff spot with a win on Monday, May 23.  During the inaugural season, the Rebels have established themselves respectfully within the Reading area community and among the best of the league. This season has built a springboard to the next one. Before moving into their first off-season, the Rebels looks to finish strong in Week 12 with two games slated.

First, Reading will travel to Atlantic City for the second time in three weeks on Friday, May 27, for another matchup with the Gambits. Reading took the first game in Week 10 and looks to prove itself once again as a real contender.

Next, the Rebels will host the Tri-State Admirals for its final home game of the year on Saturday, May 28, at the Geigle Complex at Reading Senior High School (801 North 13th Street Reading, PA 19604). The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff. Don’t miss your last chance to catch this unique roster of talent in action.
