Love is in the air! Humane Pennsylvania (Humane PA) will be offering a three-day, “Fur the Love of Football” discounted adoption event at both Lancaster and Berks adoption centers from Friday, February 10, 2023, until Sunday, February 12, 2023.
In celebration of the Philadelphia Eagles heading to Super Bowl 57 and Valentine’s Day being right around the corner, Humane Pennsylvania will offer discounted adoptions for all shelter pets in their care. Beginning Friday, February 10th, and running through Sunday, February 12th, all pet adoptions will be offered at a special discounted rate of $14.57!
Following an initial selection, potential adopters will be required to go through the same diligent adoption screening process as any other adopter. Because adoption fees are reduced, potential adopters may bring a donation of wet or dry dog or cat food if they wish to further support Humane PA.
If you are looking for a new couch companion and don’t feel like cooking for Sunday’s big game, you can have the best of both worlds. In addition to offering discounted adoptions, on Saturday, February 11th, Humane PA will also have 32-oz quarts of vegetarian and regular chili on sale for $13 as part of the Blankets of Hope 8th Annual Chef Tim’s “Take the Chill Off” Chili Fundraiser, presented by Redner’s Market from 10 AM to 2 PM. That’s not all! Valentine’s Day bags will hang outside of Humane PA’s dog and cat kennels for the entire month of February, and you can write sweet little love notes to the animals in Humane PA’s care! When you stop by during the event to meet your perfect match, you can spread love to shelter animals with a $1 Valentine! All money raised will go directly towards lifesaving resources for animals in need. When the animal is adopted, their bag of cards will be sent home with them to cherish forever!
