Bring The Change Honors Inaugural Agents of Change Leadership Program Graduates

Bring The Change expresses its heartfelt appreciation for the success of our recent Agents of Change Leadership program graduation ceremony. This celebration honored our first graduating class. Agents of Change empowers young individuals and cultivates community leaders. The support we have received has made a significant impact on the lives of its participants.

The graduation ceremony, held on Wednesday June 7, 2023 at Centro Hispano, served as a testament to the dedication and hard work demonstrated by the graduates. Thirteen exceptional students – Alanis Arroyo, Arianna Arroyo, Carelyn Batista, Lia Bueno, Milena Cepeda, Jazmin Feliz, Jaylene Hernandez, Jaylyn Lopez-Cintron, Vanessa Morban, Dynasty Parilla, Mia Perez, Esteban Seguia, and Melanie Tavares – were recognized for their outstanding achievements.

The success of the Agents of Change Leadership program would not have been possible without the support and contributions of donors and key community figures. Bring The Change extends its sincere gratitude to our sponsors United Way of Berks County, Customers Bank, and Utilities Employees Credit Union. A special thank you goes out to Mayor Eddie Moran, Judge Priscilia Campos, City Council Member Chris Miller, and Principal Waldo Alvarado for their belief in the program’s vision and their continuous support.

Bring The Change acknowledges the community at large for their unwavering support, encouragement, and enthusiasm. We are grateful to the local universities and colleges, as well as the inspiring speakers, financial institutions, and professionals who played an indispensable role in the program.

“We are incredibly proud of our graduating students and express our warmest congratulations to each of them,” said Alexander Civil, the Executive Director of Bring The Change. “Their dedication, passion, and commitment throughout the program have been truly inspiring. We are confident that they will become exemplary leaders in their communities, creating a lasting impact in the city of Reading.”

The success of the pilot program has set the stage for the future of Agents of Change Leadership programs. We are excited to prepare for the second cohort and continue nurturing the next generation of community leaders. By equipping young individuals with essential skills and knowledge, the program aims to create a society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
