Starting in the summer of 2024, the Santander Arena will begin renovations to install all new seating throughout the venue. The venue will replace all main seating, suite seats, all retractable seats, and introduce a new Club Seating section – all equipped with cupholders. Fans who attend concerts, events, and Reading Royals games can get a sneak peak of the new seats set up on the concourse level in section 120.
All seats in the Santander Arena bowl will be replaced with Hussey Seating’s Fusion Seats. These will be padded with a graphite metal finish.
The Fusion seat is the successful result of years of product development and testing. Designed to stand up to the elements and rigors of a demanding sports and entertainment venue, Fusion seats will last season after season. Plus, the Fusion seat is contoured for ergonomic support to improve the spectator experience. And with contemporary lines and a smooth, polished surface, the seat looks as good as it feels.
Seating renovations will also introduce all new Club Seating in the bowl of the arena. Sections 116, 117, and 118 will feature club seats that are padded for extra comfort and support. This brand new seating option will offer guests a unique experience and a chance for maximum comfort. Retractable seating will be located on each end of the bowl in the Santander Arena. These will have black padding, a graphite metal finish, and individual cup holders. The all new retractable seating will provide the same comfort and style as other general seating areas but is equipped with folding mechanisms useful for all event types.
All Santander Arena suites will be renovated and replaced with Hussey’s Designer Series seat style which features rich wood or laminate tones and plush upholstered seats to offer the ultimate in fixed spectator seating. A simple, yet stunningly smooth back design creates an amazing visual effect from the back of the venue, while the luxurious upholstery and quilting options demand attention from the front.
