Quaker Maid Meats, Steak-umm Announce Todd Bray as New President

Quaker Maid Meats (QMM), which encompasses the Steak-umm brand, announced on Monday, Oct. 23, that Todd Bray will step up as their new president.

Bray succeeds Sergei Szortyka, son of QMM founder Stanley Szortyka, who passed away in 2022. Sergei Szortyka will remain active as CEO, along with his sister, COO Nancy Szortyka Deale. The family’s continued involvement makes for a seamless transition and ensures that the company’s legacy and values are upheld under new leadership.

“Todd has been an invaluable member of our team for 25 years, and his wealth of experience in the industry is extraordinary. We will continue to play a vital role in the organization and are excited about the future of QMM under Todd’s leadership. We look forward to achieving new milestones together,” said CEO Sergei Szortyka and COO Nancy Szortyka Deale.

Bray has been with the company for 25 years, most recently serving as vice president of operations. He will be the first non-family member to lead QMM.
