ARL, Subaru Loves Pets, Steve Moyer Subaru to Offer Free Vaccines, Microchips For Dogs Oct. 28

The Animal Rescue League (ARL), Subaru Love Pets, and Steve Moyer Subaru partner together to host a free vaccine and microchip clinic for dogs in the City of Reading on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., at 600 Penn St. (Old Wells Fargo building).

Thanks to a grant from the ASPCA, dogs will receive a rabies vaccine (must be at least three months of age to receive rabies vaccine) and the canine DAPPv 5-in-1 vaccine, which includes protection against canine distemper virus, hepatitis, kennel cough, parainfluenza, and parvovirus (must be at least six months of age to receive the DPP vaccine).

Dogs will also be able to receive a microchip, an important step to ensure that your pet will always have identification on them.

No registration is required to participate in the clinic. The event is open to Berks County residents, and assistance in Spanish will be available.
