Cepeda-Freytiz Hosts Second Women’s Resource Fair

State Rep. Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz, D-Berks, hosted her second Women’s Resource Fair this past weekend as part of the festivities for Women’s History Month.

The fair was held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at the Romanian Community Center, 51 W. Lawn Ave., West Lawn.

“I am excited about the new edition of this powerful women’s celebration. The expo will offer resources in connection with mental health resources, education, and wellness, among many other relevant topics,” Cepeda-Freytiz said.

Cepeda-Freytiz said the event also recognized the contributions of remarkable women in the community. More than 30 vendors showcased their products and services at the fair, which will include door prizes.

This will be a family-oriented event aiming to bring women together in an entertaining atmosphere. I want to make sure that all attendees leave the fair feeling inspired and empowered to make positive changes for the benefit of their health and wellness,” she said.

Additionally, Cepeda-Freytiz and her staff were there to assist with everyone’s state-related questions.
