RSO Celebrates Summer with Free July 4th Concert

Free outdoor concert and fireworks display to take place on July 4th at Enersys

READING, Pennsylvania  – The Reading Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Andrew Constantine will perform a free outdoor Star-Spangled Spectacular concert on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. at EnerSys Corporation Grounds.

Attendees will hear popular patriotic melodies in a park-like setting, and the concert concludes with a dazzling fireworks display.

“Our annual outdoor concert embodies the July 4th holiday with the perfect combination of music, fireworks, spirit, and spectacle,” said Constantine. “There’s something beautifully pastoral about bringing the orchestra outside into this wonderful landscape.”

Tickets for the Star-Spangled Spectacular are available at Boscov’s locations, the RSO office (100 N. 5th Street, Reading, PA 19601), and other select outlets. Call 610-373-7557 for more details.

Boscov’s, Enersys, and Tower Health are sponsoring the concert.

The next RSO performance is Raiders of the Lost Ark in Concert, a special movie event featuring Spielberg’s classic adventure film with RSO performing the acclaimed soundtrack live, on June 14.
