BCTV Teams Up for Friday Night Football Broadcasts Beginning May 24th

Reading, PA:  Sports Solutions Marketing, in conjunction with Alvernia University, and BCTV have announced that ten upcoming Berks County high school football games will be televised live on local cable channel BCTV, and streamed online at www.bctv.org.  The game coverage will be presented by Sports Solutions Marketing as part of their #berksbeat coverage with video production by students of Alvernia University.

“We have put together a great group to showcase Berks Football” said Play by Play voice and SSM Operations Manager Bruce Badgley. “Our broadcasts are all about promoting the schools, players and coaches.”

Coverage kicks off on Friday, May 24th with the Tri-County All Star Game, Presented by the Manheim Touchdown Club.  The game features Senior All Stars from the Lancaster-Lebanon League and includes players from Wilson High School.  Regular season coverage debuts on August 23rd when the Exeter Township Eagles tangle with the Berks Catholic Saints.  The balance of the broadcast schedule will be unveiled on April 17th.

These select games will be telecast live on BCTV (Comcast 15, Comcast Southern Berks 965, Service Electric 19) with coverage beginning at 6:45 p.m., game begins at 7:00 p.m., and will also stream live on www.bctv.org.  This program is supported by Reading Alloys.
