Berks Community Health Center Welcomes Two New Providers

Berks Community Health Center (BCHC) is delighted to welcome two new providers: Alyssa Roth, Family Nurse Practitioner at 838 Penn St., and Erika Pied, Registered Dietitian at 1110 Rockland St.

Alyssa Roth, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, has more than eight years of nursing experience in acute care settings, including emergency, trauma, and critical care. Alyssa earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) at Chamberlain University. She completed her practicum experience as a Clinical Preceptor at BCHC in March 2023. Prior to coming to BCHC, she received practicum experience as a Clinical Preceptor at St. Luke’s ABW Pediatrics in Coopersburg, PA, and at Coopersburg Family Practice in Bethlehem, PA, as well as working as an emergency department nurse. Alyssa is dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients and families at Berk Community Health Center’s 838 Penn St. location.

Erika Pied.

​Erika Pied, MS, RD, LDN, is a Registered Dietitian (RD) with over 15 years of experience in the fields of dietetics and nutrition education. Erika earned her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and her Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition with a Dietetic Internship at Case Western Reserve University. Prior to coming to BCHC, she was an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) and a Registered Dietitian at It Takes a Village Nutrition, LLC, of which she was also the founder, in Sandy Spring, MD. Erika has extensive experience as a dietitian and nutrition instructor, working with diverse populations and cultures, both in the USA and overseas, which she brings with her to BCHC’s 1110 Rockland St. location.
