Boscov’s to Raise $3 Million for Charity on Oct. 18 With its Annual 25% Off* Friends Helping Friends Event

Boscov’s is excited to announce a $3 million goal for charity with its in-store-only Friends Helping Friends event on Wednesday, Oct. 18.

“Throughout our stores, 3,000 non-profit organizations have been working hard to distribute over 600,000 shopping passes, giving their supporters a 25% discount on almost everything we sell,” said Jim Boscov, Chairman and CEO. “We’re proud to say that this year has been our most successful Friends Helping Friends event ever.”

The 25% off* one-day event represents Boscov’s biggest sale of the year and has become an annual occasion many use to do their holiday shopping and support their favorite charity at the same time. In addition to the largest discount of the year, all Boscov’s stores will offer extended store hours from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“This event has developed into a wonderful opportunity for both our customers and non-profit partners, and we believe the $3 million goal is realistic,” said Jim Boscov.
