Fleetwood Bank Welcomes New Vice President

Curin Romich recently joined Fleetwood Bank as the Vice President of Business Development and Cash Management. A native to the area, Romich joins the company with over 23 years in the banking industry, 12 of which she spent in supervisory roles and nine of which she spent as a Bank Officer. She has a proven track record, having served as a Branch Manager for a location with over $50 million in deposits and obtaining over $3 million in retail loans in just six months’ time – to name a couple of her banking career achievements.

“Curin’s keen interest in customer service, sales, and relationship building align perfectly with the hospitable service we pride ourselves on at Fleetwood Bank,” said Timothy Snyder, CEO and President of Fleetwood Bank. “We are confident our customers will feel at ease working with her through the cash management and lending processes while helping our business customers obtain continual growth through deposits within their organizations.”

A graduate of Oley Valley High School and Kutztown University of Pennsylvania, Curin’s dedication and loyalty to the Berks County community is evident in the numerous voluntary leadership roles she holds. Currently, she is heavily involved with the Greater Reading Chamber of Commerce and the Tri-County Chamber of Commerce, is serving as a committee member of the Animal Rescue League’s upcoming Festival of Trees event for the third year in a row, and is co-chairing the Auction Committee for Safe Berks’ upcoming Celebration of Peace event in February. Curin has sat on the Board of the Northeast Berks Chamber of Commerce since November 2022 and serves as committee chair for new members, meeting with them to discuss all of the benefits they receive as part of the chamber. She has also helped facilitate women-only networking events for chamber members, and she further strengthens her support of women in business by being actively engaged with Alvernia University’s Women’s Council and Berks Women in Motion. She most recently joined the Board of The Greater Reading Mental Health Alliance in October of this year.

Curin’s commitment to her high school alma mater is apparent through her serving as Board Vice President of the Oley Valley Community Library since 2018, being an active member of the Oley Valley Business Association since 2017, and serving as a committee member of the Oley Valley Athletic Hall of Fame since August 2023. She has been the Treasurer of the Friends of the Exeter Township Police Department, where she currently resides, since 2022.

“I’m so excited to be part of Fleetwood Bank because I was born and raised in Berks County, and we are the only bank headquartered here – an area I know very well and hold close to my heart. People do business with people they know, like, and trust, so joining a Bank that is composed of local decision-makers that value the community and giving back to it as much as I do just made sense,” stated Romich.
