The grand opening of the LGBT Center Wellness Clinic will take place on Jan. 9, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., at the LGBT Center location: 640 Centre Ave., Reading, PA. The Clinic’s inauguration will showcase a diverse range of speakers who will preside over the ribbon-cutting, sharing their insights, perspectives, and personal experiences.

With an understanding of the unique healthcare needs of the LGBTQ+ community, the LGBT Center has assembled a team of expert physicians, practitioners, and support staff who possess a deep commitment to providing culturally competent care. Initially, the clinic will offer a suite of specialized services provided by the following practitioners that include:

  3. Reiki Balance – Reiki and mindfulness services.
  4. Co-County Wellness Services – HIV screening.

The Center is thrilled to announce that Dr. K. Ashley Brandt, FACOG, Gender Affirming Surgeon, will serve as the Clinical Director.

By prioritizing the holistic well-being of LGBTQ+ individuals, the clinic aims to reduce health disparities, improve healthcare access, and foster a sense of belonging and acceptance within the community.
