Spherion Honors Franchise Owners the Frassinellis with Prestigious President’s Award

Community service important to local growth and success

ALLENTOWN, PA.  — Spherion Staffing Services, a national recruiting, staffing and workforce solutions provider, recently honored Central/Eastern Pennsylvania franchise owners Phil Frassinelli, Sr., Marlene Frassinelli and Phil Frassinelli, Jr. with the company’s President’s Award for the second year in a row.

The President’s Award, one of the company’s six coveted annual awards, is given to ownership teams who best have achieved continuous sales growth and demonstrated an overall commitment to local workforce improvement and community development during the preceding three years. Together, the Frassinellis own and operate eight Spherion branches throughout Pennsylvania, delivering customized workforce solutions to businesses in Bethlehem, Lehigh Valley, Harrisburg, Carlisle, Hazleton, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, and Reading.

The Frassinellis have been putting Pennsylvanians to work with Spherion for the past 10 years.  To drive continued growth and success for the next 10 years and beyond, the ownership team recently realigned their leadership structure and added a new layer of management across the entire market. Additionally, they have focused on hiring new talent to further build their bench strength and meet the evolving needs of local businesses.

Secondly, we have built an amazing team of professionals with deep knowledge of and dedication to our local business communities. In addition to putting people to work, the Frassinellis and their team are committed to making a difference in the community by giving back to local organizations, donating their time and expertise across a number of local non-profit such as: Lehigh Valley Hospital, Family Promise of Berks County, Carlisle Tool Library, Dress for Success, The Helping Hands Society of Hazelton and others.

Supporting their community has been an integral part of their business since they opened their first Spherion branch in 2009. To commemorate their 10th anniversary in business, the Frassinellis are planning to launch the “$10K Give Back Giveaway Contest.” This contest, which will launch next month, will ask for the public’s help in choosing which local charity will receive a $10,000 donation – a thousand dollars for each year they have been in business.
