The Mount Penn Preserve Partnership (MP3) is pleased to announce an evening of blues featuring Mikey Junior plus Busker Incognito & The SHOW on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, starting at 6pm. Self-taught from his impressive collection of blues vinyl, Mikey Junior was a full-time musician before he even graduated high school. It wasn’t long before one blues society after another scrambled to get him to their stage. Before long, Mikey was a staple of the summer blues circuit on the east coast. His most recent release,Blues in the Barn: Volume 1reveals a young blues artist at the top of his game, telling stories we can all relate to while drawing us deep into the roots of blues music via his utter mastery of the diatonic and chromatic harmonicas.
Busker Incognito & The SHOW is the name for the band as well as the name for the concert presentation. Serving up blues-based, original music rooted in the Delta style, yet delivered via an original blend of contemporary lamentations of the human experience, bawdy double entendre expressions of human sexuality, epic outbursts of the blues’ baby rock & roll and more, Busker Incognito & the SHOW will both entertain you and get your mojo workin’!

Berks Arts is proud to present the Reading Blues Fest, which was created in November 2017 and has become a popular addition to the Boscov’s Berks Jazz Fest and other events. The Reading Blues Fest provides a chance for fans to relax during a long weekend in the friendly atmosphere of the award-winning DoubleTree by Hilton Reading, while enjoying concerts, blues-themed lunches and brunches, and related activities.
