Reading Hospital to Crown Softball Champion at FirstEnergy Stadium

READING – On Saturday, July 7, FirstEnergy Stadium, home of the Reading Fightin’ Phils, will host the Reading Hospital Softball League Championship games. Gates open at 11 a.m. with the first game at noon and the second game following immediately after. Mary Agnew, Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Mark McNash, Vice President of Support Services, and Jessica Lodek will all be present to share the first pitch of the game at 11:45 a.m. A trophy presentation will follow the conclusion of each game. Admission to both games is free and open to the public and concessions will be available for purchase. 

The softball season kicked off on May 1 with 22 teams (more than 450 employees), but this Saturday the final four teams will compete for the division championships. The final four teams include the Purple (X-ray) Team, captained by Drew Noecker, a Radiologic Technologist, competing against the Red (Environmental Services) Team, led by Alex Alfaro, a senior Environmental Services Manager. Kerry Casey will be leading the White (Podiatry Residents) Team against the Vegas Gold (N2) Team, headed by Jared Miller, RN in the second game.
