Santander Arena and PAC Set Record High in Ticket Sales for Q2

The ASM Global managed Santander Arena and Santander Performing Arts Center concluded a historic 20th Anniversary season with all time high positions for the two venues on Pollstar’s Quarterly Worldwide Ranking based on ticket sales. The community’s continued excitement to return to live events was reflected in the venue’s Q2 Worldwide Pollstar Rankings for 2022 as the Santander Performing Arts Center placed at a record high #62 amongst theaters and the Santander Arena landed at #104 amongst arenas. Excluding international venues and only factoring in venues located within the United States the Santander Performing Arts Center ranked #54 and the Santander Arena ranked #79. These rankings put both the Santander Arena and Santander Performing Arts Center highest amongst other local Pennsylvania venues of similar capacity.

General Manager, David Farrar spoke to the venue’s continued success in 2022 stating “We’ve brought a lot of great content to the two venues but more importantly Reading, Lancaster & beyond have bought into what we are doing here downtown. We’ve seen a lot of new faces over the last 6 months walk through our doors and a lot of fans who have been returning for multiple events. The community’s increased interest in our events has helped us bring more entertainment than ever before to Reading. Our promoter partners and the support of the BCCCA have also been vital in helping us achieve success since we re-opened in August of 2021.”

The summer remains busy for the Santander Arena and Santander Performing Arts Center as both venues prepare to kick off the summer concert season this Friday as Dreamcatcher comes to Reading, PA for the area’s first K-Pop show produced by SLP Concerts. Comedy fans will be treated to an appearance from Joe Gatto at the Santander Performing Arts Center on July 10 presented by Outback Presents. Rock returns to Reading this August as the Santander Arena hosts three different shows starting with Papa Roach and Falling in Reverse on August 2 and Three Days Grace on August 3 produced by SLP Concerts, followed by A Day to Remember on August 6 presented by Live Nation.

Tickets for all shows are on-sale now online at Ticketmaster.
