Berks Encore’s Community Breakfast Honors Carl Staples & Brentwood

Berks Encore presented their annual Leadership by Example awards to Brentwood and Carl Staples during their 2021 Community Breakfast.  The event was held at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton, 701 Penn Street, Reading, on Tuesday September 21.

A new Rising Leader award was set to be presented in 2020. Since that breakfast was cancelled due to COVID, the new award was presented this year to Cameron Martin, Vice President of Development at the Highlands, by Doug & Nancy Yocom, the Leadership by Example award winner in 2019.

In addition, Nancy Stump-Seiger was recognized by Berks Encore for a generous and unexpected donation of $100,000 to Berks Encore in December 2019. Since the 2020 breakfast was cancelled, this was the first opportunity to recognize her publicly for her generosity.
