Alvernia’s Lim Named MAC Commonwealth Player of The Week

Annville, Pa. (Mar. 4, 2019) – Softball junior JoAnnah Lim was named was named MAC Commonwealth Softball Player of the Week following her performance during the week of February 25 – March 3.

JoAnnah Lim (Alvernia / Jr., SS / Delanco, N.J.) led the Golden Wolves to a 2-0 week, batting 5-for-6 (.833) with two doubles, a walk, hit-by-pitch, four RBIs and three runs scored. The junior was 2-for-2 with a double, a walk and an RBI in a 6-5 come-from-behind win over Monmouth. She delivered the first run down, 3-0, and then in the third inning was part of a three-run sixth inning, trailing 5-1. Lim went 3-for-4 with a hit-by-pitch, double, three RBIs and three runs scored in a 19-6 win over Eastern.

This is the second week in a row that Alvernia earned Player of the Week honors for the MAC Commonwealth. Alyssa Acker was named Player of the Week last week, and Ally Decker was named Pitcher of the Week last week.
